Deutsch: Evangelische Jacobikirche in 04720 Döbeln, An der Jacobikirche (GMP: 51.121627,13.106512); Die Gemeindekirche wurde am 15. September 1904 nach gut einem Jahr Bauzeit am westlichen Stadtrand eingeweiht. Ihr Name erinnert an die alte, 1523 bei einem Stadtbrand zerstört Jacobikirche. Den Entwurf erstellte Stadtbaumeister Otto Richter. Aufgrund zunehmender Bauschäden wurde das Gotteshaus seit den 1970er Jahren nur noch selten genutzt. 1982 stellte man die Gottesdienste ein. Im Mai 1997 wurde die renovierte Jacobikirche feierlich wieder eingeweiht. Da die evangelische Gemeinde keine so große Kirche mehr brauchte, nahm man bei der Renovierung eine Teilung des Kirchenschiffs vor. Unter der sehr tiefen Orgelempore wurden eine Küche und sanitäre Einrichtungen eingebaut. Das Kirchenschiff wurde durch eine Trennwand verkleinert. Heute wird die Jacobikirche vielseitig genutzt, etwa für Gemeindefeste und Veranstaltungen. Neben dem Gotteshaus befindet sich der seit 2005 der evangelische Kindergarten St. Florian.
