Description
English: A man in military garb and iceskates pulling another man out of a hole (which is marked "Danger Egypt") in the ice over a pond, while another falls down and two others skate in the background. Line drawing. OR-but, I think the soldier is Garnett Wolsey, the man in the ice is certainly William Gladstone, the two other skating figures are Joseph Chamberlain (right) and Spencer Cavendish, 8th Duke of Devonshire (left). the man falling down is likely Edward Stanley, 15th Earl of Derby.
